I recently went to an Antique Roadshow event at the Villa at the Westhampton senior community. You can check out a flyer for the event here.
Many seniors came out to this event to view this new community and brought interesting, unique items to have appraised. There were gold pocket watches worth $2500, decorative china pieces, old jewelry broaches, and antique books. The winning highest item of the event turned out to be a dark landscape oil painting (needing restorative cleaning) on tin from the 1800’s. It came in with an estimated worth of a whopping $35,000! It was an exciting afternoon that served a delicious lunch.
